No-Go Zones in France

There are the 751 “no-go” zones for France.

From this link.

They are convienently listed on one long webpage, complete with street demarcations and map delineations.

What are they? Those places in France that the French state does not control. They range from two zones in the medieval town of Carcassone to twelve in the heavily Muslim town of Marseilles, with hardly a town in France lacking in its ZUS. The ZUS came into existence in late 1996 and according to a 2004 estimate, nearly 5 million people live in them.

When you read numbers: Naturalized and children that about double the figure are not incounted, and remember it is certainly not undangerous to convert.

Saadan standses en demokratisk debat i Europa

“Divisive” Politics “Attacks on

“Europeans have a terrific system for managing politically-sensitive disputes: They ignore them. And, better still, they ignore the desires of those on one side of the issue entirely.

When it comes to tough political decisions that emotionally animate a sizable minority — or even majority — of voters, Europeans have “evolved” a system whereby they simply deem those who are on the “wrong,” meaning “right,” side of an issue as “politically extreme,” “racist,” etc.

This system has the great advantage of suppressing all politics on sensitive issues. Those who want to restrict immigration from Muslim countries are “racist;” therefore, there’s no need to consider them. Even though such persons constitute a majority in many European countries.

Branding such persons “racist” and “extreme” helps to suppress actual serious advocacy for certain positions. A large number of people might actually support such measures, but if their politicians are too cowed by, say, the BBC’s branding of them as “rightwing extremists,” they will soft-sell their program and meekly acquiesce in the status quo.

The system works great– except, of course, for the small problem that it results in an unresponsive politics which ignores the actual wishes of many people. It’s a great way to solve the difficulties of democracy, if you don’t mind abandoning actual democracy along the way….”

Topical European Debate Right Now

From comment on: http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/1688

“Basically, Peters thinks that Europe’s Muslims are in trouble and will be deported or worse. Steyn believes there will be a return to European fascism, but the high European median age will limit the damage. Besides, other Europeans will find it easier to leave (as the Dutch and some French have done) or convert to Islam.

I side with Steyn. Are Europeans really going to have the energy to rise out of their wheelchairs and battle hordes of hateful, aggresive, and energetic youth.

My prediction: Paris will fall by 2022, perhaps earlier. Parts of Europe will end up a patchwork of hostile mini-states, some Muslim and others not.

Needless to say, all the big, world-class European companies will relocate to the US, Australia, or Canada, as they follow their highly educated workforces overseas.

I believe that France, Russia, and Belgium are pretty much gone as viable nation-states. In 5 years’ time, we’ll be able to say the same thing about Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, and Denmark. In 10 years time, bye-bye Norway and Germany. Only Spain, with its large Latin American immigrant population may survive.

The UK may last 20 years.”

Europe and Western Europe

Europe and Western Europe

“I keep hearing the claim that “Europe is lost to Islam,” but Islam is more vulnerable than it appears, and Europe is a big place consisting of many rather different countries. Still, although I hope most of Europe can be saved, I cannot discount the possibility that certain areas or nations in Western Europe will indeed be destroyed by the immigration we are witnessing now. Some natives from countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Britain and Sweden are already emigrating, but where are they leaving to? Most observers take it for granted that they will move to the United States, Canada and Australia, but these countries have Multicultural problems of their own, although not yet as severe as those in Europe. The most “European” countries of South America, for instance Chile, is another possibility, but one region is frequently overlooked: The formerly Communist countries of Eastern Europe…”

Flere Problemboern, naturligvis
